Meet the Open Door Staging Team

Akanke Cadden, ASP, is the President of Open Door Staging, Inc. She is an Accredited Staging Professional and proud to be the 2008 President of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA), South Florida Chapter, and the 2008 President-Elect and board member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP) Fort Lauderdale chapter.

An affiliate member of the Realtor Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale, South Broward Board of Realtors and the Women’s Council of Realtors, she regularly presents educational seminars to the real estate community on the importance of home staging. She is also an active member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Fort Lauderdale chapter.

Akanke received her design degree from the prestigious Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, and is a regular contributer to print, online and TV segments about home staging in South Florida.

Mary Nowak, AHS, is an Accredited Home-Staging Specialist and active member of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) of South Florida.

Mary has over 13 years experience in the home decor industry, including retail store layout and product merchandising. She also brings extensive knowledge in professional organizing , space management solutions, and project management.

Mary received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin. an Accredited Home-Staging Specialist and active member of the Real Estate Staging Association of South Florida.

Nancy Rabold, ASP, is an Accredited Staging Professional and active member of the Fort Lauderdale chapter of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals. Before relocating to South Florida from New York, Nancy renovated, and decorated homes in Manhattan and Bridgehampton.

Nancy has staged extensively Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Bal Harbor, Florida. Several of her staged homes sold within a day after staging, and all have been under contract within 45 days post-staging. Nancy holds a BA in English Literature, and a Masters Degree in Journalism.

Betty Frongello, has been staging homes for sale for over 25 years - before home staging was offically a known term. Betty prides herself on her staging expertise, attention to detail, and comittment to customer service.

Prior to relocating to South Florida seven years ago, Betty was co-owner of a Real Estate brokerage that provided real estate and staging services to buyers and sellers of luxury homes in the Boston Metropolis. As a result, she understands the South Florda real estate market dynamics, and stages luxury homes throughout South Florida (Weston, Fort Lauderdale, and Bal Harbor).

Nadine Gross, Feng Shui Master and instructor, of the Black Tantric Buddhist Sect (BTB), has been servicing business and residential feng shui clients in the US and Europe for over 10 years. She is a graduate of the Metropolitan School of Interior Design and the Open Center Professional Feng Shui Training course.

For 30 years Nadine was a design director in the Home Furnishings Industry servicing Fortune 500 companies.
