2,600 Broward county home owners apply for tax portability

An article in todays newspaper stated that 2,600 Broward county (south Florida) home owners have applied for tax portability.
Translated, that means that there may be up to 2,600 additional home owners trying to sell their properties shortly.

More than 2,600 Broward County residents have applied to take their tax breaks with them to a new home in the month since voters approved a property tax relief proposal allowing the long-sought ability to transfer savings.
